Free tools for the people on the bench
We play tabletop games, and we kept running into the same small problems: cards that go out of date the moment a player levels up, reference sheets buried in a rulebook, things you want printed at exactly the right size. Benchwarmers Games is where we put the tools we built to fix them. Free, in your browser, no account.
The tools
- The Dugout PressUnofficial card maker for Blood Bowl coaches: every Third Season roster, Star Players, skills and printable 75 × 110 mm cards.
- Clix FoundryUnofficial card and dial maker for HeroClix players: build a dial click by click, add traits and special powers, print sleeve-size cards.
- The Loot TablePrintable card maker, Daggerheart™ Compatible: the SRD weapons, armor, items and potions as cards, plus domain cards and your own homebrew.
- MunitorumUnofficial Warhammer 40,000 datasheet card maker and printer: every faction from a community data feed, editable stats and weapons, your own colours.
- WarscrollsUnofficial Age of Sigmar warscroll card maker and printer: every faction and every Spearhead from a community data feed, with battle traits and enhancements as sleeve-size ability cards.
Each one is described in more depth on the tools page. More are on the workbench. When one is good enough that we use it at our own table, it goes up here, and the what's new page records every change we ship.
Guides
The part of the hobby that no rulebook covers: getting a card out of a home printer at the right size, cutting it straight, sleeving it, keeping a league's cards current. We wrote down what we learned, with the measurements.
- Printing game cards at homeScale, margins, paper, duplex and the one setting that silently shrinks everything
- Card sizes and sleevesThe real dimensions of Blood Bowl, HeroClix, Daggerheart, 40K and Age of Sigmar cards

How our tools work
- Everything stays on your device. What you make is saved in your own browser. We run no accounts and no database, so there is nothing of yours for us to lose, sell or leak.
- Export is your backup. Each tool can save your work as a single file you keep, and load it back on any computer.
- Made for printing. Real millimetres, sensible page layouts, double-sided backs that line up.
- Unofficial and honest about it. We ship no publisher artwork or logos, write rules summaries in our own words, and flag any number our sources disagree on. The rulebook always wins.
Why "Benchwarmers"
Because most of our players spend more time in the dugout than on the pitch, and most of our hobby time goes into everything around the game: painting, printing, sleeving, arguing about rosters. These tools are for that part.
Everything here is free. If a tool saved you an evening, you can chip in on Ko-fi.
